Discover the breathtaking beauty of Japan's longest ridge trail, the Gunma Ridge Trail, which stretches an impressive 100 kilometers through stunning landscapes. Join us for an unforgettable three-day adventure as we explore a remarkable 20-kilometer section of this iconic trail, starting from the Tenjindaira Ropeway top station and culminating in the picturesque town of Naeba.

Day 1: Tenjindaira to Tanigawa Hut
We begin our adventure by taking the Tenjindaira Ropeway, which whisks you up to the top station at 1,319 meters, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. From there, we will hike 3.5 kilometers with a 645-meter vertical ascent to the Tanigawa Hut. Conquer the majestic Mt. Tanigawa, standing at 1,977 meters, and witness a breathtaking sunset. Afterward, enjoy a hearty dinner and a restful night in the cozy mountain hut.

 
Day 2: Tanigawa Hut to Tairappyo Hut
Fuel up with breakfast before tackling the longest day of the hike. Covering nearly 13 kilometers with a 975-meter vertical ascent, you'll traverse multiple peaks along the Gunma Ridge Trail. Reach the highest peak of this section, Sennokura, at 2,026 meters, before descending to Tairappyo at 1,984 meters. Conclude the day at Tairappyo Hut, where you'll find comfort and camaraderie.

 
Day 3: Tairappyo Hut to Mikuni Town
After a nourishing breakfast, begin your descent to Mikuni Town, home to the renowned Naeba Ski Resort. This final leg offers a chance to reflect on your journey and soak in the stunning autumn landscapes.
