Hiking is exciting!

Welcome to hiking adventures in the heart of Jōshin'etsu-kōgen National Park, Japan's fourth largest national park. Just as swimming in the ocean is a must at the beach, hiking in the summer and autumn here is an essential experience.

From any peak around Naeba, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the "sea of mountains" that surround us.

We've handpicked a selection of hikes suitable for all fitness levels. Whether it's a leisurely downhill stroll to the historic Hoshi Onsen or a challenging yet immensely rewarding full-day trek to Mt. Tairappyo, there's something for everyone.

With our experienced guides fluent in English and/or Chinese, you'll receive hiking poles and a bear bell to ensure a safe journey while keeping our furry neighbors at bay. Our roundtrip shuttle service ensures convenience, whisking you to the start of the hike and back to the hotel once we've completed our adventure.

As we lead the way, we'll share fascinating facts about the area, enriching your experience with insights into the park's history and natural wonders.

Remember to dress comfortably in proper hiking shoes and attire, and always be prepared for changing weather conditions and the possibility of rain. Don't forget your sunscreen, hat, snacks, and plenty of water packed in your trusty backpack.

Join us for an unforgettable hiking experience and let's embark on an adventure together!
